The AGAIN Method
You can’t go back, but you can live again.
A practical, faith-informed way to begin rebuilding when life changes unexpectedly.
THE AGAIN METHOD
A way forward that makes room for your whole story
I created AGAIN for the days when life has changed and you are not sure what comes next. It is not a checklist or a timeline. It is a practical, compassionate guide you can return to as you process what happened, rediscover yourself, connect with others, dream again, and rebuild what is next.

NOT A FINISH LINE
You do not have to get over it
What happened will always be part of your story. I am not here to rush you past it, tidy it up, or tell you there is one right way to grieve and rebuild.
The AGAIN Method is a welcoming place to begin wherever you are. You may spend time in one part, circle back to another, or discover that a step means something different this month than it did last month. That is not failure. That is being human.
You cannot go back, but you can live again.

These five practices are here to help you move forward with your story, not away from it. Take what helps. Leave room for the rest.
THE FIVE PRACTICES
Come back to these as often as you need
1. Acknowledge what has changed
Name what is true, including what hurts. Honest acknowledgment gives you solid ground to stand on.
2. Get to know who you are now
Life may look different, and so may you. Get curious about what matters, what you need, and what is still possible.
3. Allow others in
You were not made to carry every hard thing alone. Let trusted people show up in ways that are helpful.
4. Identify what you want now
Wanting something again is not a betrayal of what you lost. It is a small, brave way of making room for life.
5. Navigate what is next
You do not need the whole map. Choose the next honest step, then give yourself permission to adjust as you go.
Your path is your own
There is no fixed order and no deadline. Return to any practice whenever you need it.
You do not have to figure it out alone
If you are ready for a little more space, support, and honest conversation, I would love to meet you where you are.
Start with the AGAIN Retreat, listen to the podcast, or reach out when you are ready.

A way forward
Begin where you are
Michelle developed AGAIN through widowhood. It is for women and men navigating loss and change, including divorce, illness, and a future that no longer looks as planned.
This is not a formula for getting over what happened. It is a practical framework for noticing what is true, making room for faith, and taking the next honest step.
What happened is part of your story. It does not have to be the end of it.
The AGAIN Method
Move through the five parts in order, return to the one you need, or begin with the step that feels possible today.
The AGAIN Method
Five honest steps for rebuilding a life that fits who you are now.
A
Acknowledge what happened
Name the change, the grief, and the ripple effects across your life. There is no need to minimize what you feel.
G
Get to know who you are now
Explore what remains and what is being discovered. The experience matters, but it is not your entire identity.
A
Allow others in
Identify people and communities who can listen, support, and walk beside you. You do not have to rebuild alone.
I
Identify what’s next
Consider what matters now, what to keep or change, and the possibilities emerging. There is no pressure to map the whole future.
Reflection: What is one thing I want more of in this season?
Notice what matters now
Consider what can change
Make room for possibility
N
Navigate your next steps
Turn what you are learning into small, realistic choices that fit your life and values.
Reflection: What is one step I can take this week?
Choose what is realistic
Keep faith and values close
Take one step at a time
Where do I begin?
AGAIN is not a rigid timeline. Start with the step you need today, then return to the others as life unfolds. You can move slowly, revisit a step, and make room for what is true now.
When you are ready, Michelle offers one-on-one coaching and the AGAIN Retreat as places to keep exploring what living again can look like.
